Molly’s is about bringing the Past, Present and Future into one complete experience for the bridal group who want their celebration and venue to be something out of the ordinary.
Set at the end of the Waiuku Estuary, The Kentish Hotel is a timeless piece of Victorian History which sets to delight brides and hostesses whether they are traditional, contemporary or a little funky. The Kentish Hotel was built in 1851 and like the best of marriages has stood the test of time. Graham and Anne-Marie will ensure all the wants and needs of the wedding party are tastefully handled with the same care and attention everyone wishes for the one magical day.
Molly’s is ideal for a cocktail style or formal seated functions depending upon guest numbers. The Portside Bar is available for those wishing to have the celebrations outside in the warm evening sun setting in the west, or for the bride and groom who wish to have a dawn wedding while the sun rises over the pine trees. The Estuary bank which is home to the Historic Village makes a wonderful background for wedding photos and a beautiful backdrop to the Portside Bar. Being a tidal estuary you may wish to ensure the tide is in when setting the date.
Our catering and event staff will happily assist you in choices of food, entertainment, decorations and all other desires to fit in with the bridal party’s personal style and budget. We are happy for you to bring your own wedding/function planner or utilise the skills and expertise of our experienced staff.
